Prithvi Shaw became the youngest Indian and fourth youngest player to score a century in the Shaw Debu Test so that India strengthened its position on the first day of the first cricket Test against West Indies on Thursday by making 364 runs in four wickets in Rajkot.

Earth has completed a century in 99 balls, debuting at the age of 18 years and 329 days. He scored 134 runs in 154 balls with 19 fours. Cheteshwar Pujara (86) and skipper Virat Kohli (72 not out) also hit a half-century. At the end of the day's play, Rishabh Pant made 17 runs and Kohli was playing with Kohli. Kohli has hit four fours in his innings, facing 137 balls so far.

Prithvi and Pujara added 206 runs for the second wicket to prepare India a good platform after Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane (41) shared a 105-run partnership for the fourth wicket in a strong position.

The earth also had a century in his Ranji Trophy match and he is the youngest player to score a century in the Duleep Trophy.

Under the leadership of India, India lost 133 runs in 25 overs in one session and in the second session, the team scored 99 runs in two overs in 26 overs. In the last session, Team India was successful in picking up 132 runs for a wicket in 38 overs.

The earth did not show any pressure during its innings and they took full advantage of the West Indies' weak bowling attack. India lost the opening batsman KL Rahul (00) in the first over, after which the earth and Pujara took over the team.

The earth completed a century by playing fast bowler Keema Pal for two runs on the cover and became the first Indian batsman to hit the first Test century after Sachin Tendulkar. India became the 293rd cricketer to represent India in Test matches.

The Mumbai batsman played his first ball in international cricket by playing the second ball in the cover for three runs.

Fast bowler Shaun Gabriel was bowling at a speed of 140 km / h but it did not show any impact on the earth. Gabriel (one for 66 runs) gave the West Indies a good start in the first over with LBW bowled by Lokesh Rahul (00).

In the second over, the earth put on its first four points point boundary on Keymo Pal. After that, he hit three more fours on this fast bowler.

The grass was seen on the pitch but after the initial overs of Gabriel, the bowlers did not get much help. West Indies' bowlers failed to disturb the Prithvi and Pujara. These two batsmen also scored runs easily against Devendra Bishoo (one wicket for 113 runs) and Rohan Cha has (one wicket for 67 runs).

Earth completed fifty-foot half-century in the 56th over with a square drive. Pujara also completed 50 runs in 67 balls with a straightforward knock. The West reached the 200-run mark in the 41st over with Louise (1 for 56) and a four in the 41st over.

Pujara, though in the next over of Lewis caught wicket-keeper Shane Dowrich in an attempt to tamper with off-side off-side and missed the 16th Test century on his home ground. He scored 14 fours in his innings of 130 balls.

The earth could not stay long after this, and in the last over before tea, the leg-spinner was caught on the back of Bishnu's ball. They got more than half their runs from the boundary.

Kohli once again looked in good rhythm but Rahane had trouble getting the rhythm in the beginning. Kohli scored two fours on Louise, while Rahane hit the first four-ball off Gabrielle. The spin duo of Bisu and Chase were able to curb for some time in the meanwhile. Kohli and Rahane, however, spent a lot of time on the crease and then played the catchy shots. Both of them reached the score of 300 in the 73rd over. Kohli played the Bishop ball for two runs and completed the 50th ball in 100 balls.

The West Indies did not take a new ball after the 80th over, whose team got the advantage when Chase got caught by wicketkeeper droich in the hands of Chase. Rahane took the DRS but in Replay showed that the ball hit the lower part of his bat and went into the gloves of the wicketkeeper. Rahane faced 92 balls and hit five fours.

After Rahane was dismissed, the West Indies took the second new ball early in the 85th over but Kohli and Pant did not allow India to make any other setback in the remaining five overs.
